Grobler is facing charges of racketeering and three counts of fraud worth 12-billion rand. He’s also accused of failing to report fraud and manipulation of the company’s financial statements. Burger pleaded guilty on all three charges of the Contravention of the Financial Markets Act and subsequently sentenced to five years imprisonment, suspended for five years on condition that he does not commit the same crime in that period.
