Ex-Premier League star: I hear Ahly boss is better than Pitso
An Egypt star claims he has heard from his national teammates that Marcel Koller is a better manager than Pitso Mosimane.
Mosimane is somewhat a polarising figure, with a number of his former players having criticised him as a manager, while many others have also sung his praise.As such, perceptions of him differ depending on who you speak to, and it is perhaps no surprise that some would rank him lower than Koller in the conversation regarding Al Ahly's best managers.
The Swiss boss has won seven trophies since joining Ahly in 2022, while Mosimane claimed six titles during his two years in Cairo. Koller could match Mosimane's Champions League record if his charges beat Esperance de Tunis on Saturday and defend their continental trophy.
