Kaizer Chiefs have been accused for favouritism by one of their former players, who was instrumental in their last league title victory.

Khune was promoted to the Chiefs first team 20 years ago, and has been first choice since about 2007/08 season. In that period of time many goalkeepers have come in to either challenge him or back him up. That includes the likes of“If you remember correctly the last time Chiefs won a trophy it was MTN 8 and then the league, I was in goals. But the supporters were so glued that they still wanted Itu , but the numbers were not adding up.

Khuzwayo, however, also had his own fan-favourite status at Chiefs, spending six seasons at Naturena. Even though his time at the club was mainly as a second choice goalkeeper, he was pivotal in the 2014/15 season. He would go on to make 16 starts for the club, in their last league winning campaign.
