On Sunday, arguably the biggest derby on the African continent took place, with Al Ahly having the opportunity to close the gap between themselves and Egyptian Premier League log leaders Zamalek when the two side locked horns at the Al-Salam Stadium.
Things would drastically change going into the second half, though, when veteran attacker Mahmoud Abdel-Razek Shikabala was brought off the bench for Zamalek. However, Al Ahly substitute Salah Mohsen levelled matters with 10 minutes to go as both sides went home with a point from the Cairo Derby.
