All you need to know about the Armed Forces Day event in Leeds
A festival of fun in honour of the British Armed Forces will take place in Leeds city centre on June 25.
There will be musical entertainment from the Dishforth Military Wives Choir, the Daisy Belles and others. And if the weather holds, a 1930s Tiger Moth biplane will perform a flypast over the central shopping street.A flag-raising parade in Victoria Gardens will take place on June 17 . "I’m really looking forward to the wide range of events and attractions this year, and the grand raffle, with the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime flying experience while supporting local armed forces charities and Armed Forces Day itself, makes it doubly exciting. I will be buying some tickets and wish the best of luck to everyone who enters."
