With deals on quality bedding and fancy kitchen gadgets, the Macy's sale is a must-shop if you're looking for home and kitchen deals

Photo-Illustration: The Strategist; Photo: Retailer Macy’s is getting Black Friday out of the way early this year, currently offering up to 75 percent off across all categories. As you would hope from a department store sale, the deals include bigger ticket items that you might have been waiting for the right moment to purchase. Especially in the kitchen, where we found heavily discounted Dutch ovens, skillets, and knife sets alongside investment appliances from KitchenAid, Nespresso, and Ninja.

If you’ve been wanting to improve your thread count, this might also be the perfect time to stock up on sheets and comforter sets from brands like Martha Stewart Collection, Laura Ashley, and Vera Wang. And for the full bedroom upgrade, we spotted discounted mattresses from Sealy and Beautyrest. There’s even Jojo Siwa and Marvel kids’ bedding to be had at more than 50 percent off. Oh, and Pendleton for your pooch.

Luggage had some of the best savings we saw, with Samsonite spinners and Travelpro’s soft-sided suitcases almost unrecognizably affordable. Rounding out the bargains is a range of discounted clothing, including cashmere basics, winter-ready UGG boots, and gearhead-approved Marmot puffer jackets. All of these deals are live now and set to expire on November 27 — we’ll be keeping an eye on stock and updating the list accordingly. And don’t forget to shop around and take a look at our ongoing guide to all of the best Black Friday sales elsewhere.

Some trees have an attractive bony framework that is then revealed. Ginkgo tree, for instance. Leafless, a ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba) tree, soft and green in summer, appears as if each main limb knows where it is going, jutting boldly and alone into space to give the whole tree a coarse yet pleasant appearance.
