Rutgers (4-2, 1-2) hosts Michigan State (2-3, 0-2) in its Homecoming game at SHI Stadium at noon on Saturday.
The game is a borderline win for the Scarlet Knights, who need to win two of their final six games to earn a traditional bowl bid with their first non-losing season since the 2014 campaign. Their next two games against the spiraling Spartans and imploding Indiana are the two best chances for a win that Rutgers has on its schedule.
