All of the votes have finally been counted and the 2023 Local Elections have come to an end in Northern Ireland.
The Northern Ireland Electoral Office said that the voter turnout was 54.71%, with 755,263 votes being cast out of 1,380,372, eligible voters.Sinn Fein have recorded their best ever result in a local election with , now becoming the largest party in local government in Northern Ireland after making significant gains from 2019.
