United Utilities has opened three bottled water stations in Morecambe as thousands of people have supplies turned off because of burst pipes and leaks.
The experts say it is expected that water supplies will 'return during the course of the day' today . They have also thanked residents for their patience during this time. In the meantime, United Utilities is opening three bottled water stations in Morecambe today. A new bottled water station is opening at the Festival Market on Marine Road in Morecambe.The sites will be open from 8am to 8pm, except Festival Market which will open at 9am. Water has been delivered overnight to affected customers on United Utilities’ Priority Services register, and the water company continues to work closely with the council and other stakeholders to support key sites and services.
