Everton slipped back to 16th in the Premier League standings after losing 2-1 at home to relegation rivals Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.
It means the Blues have now taken only four points from a possible 21 available to them at this stage of the campaign. The result also brings a two-game win streak in all competitions to an abrupt end. October 7 - Bournemouth : In a repeat of the fixture that clinched last season's famous final day escape from relegation, the stakes aren't quite as high at present although three points wouldn't go amiss all the same. Especially against another relegation rival, a win at home would open up the gap that many hoped would form following the Luton match.
October 29 - West Ham : David Moyes has got his team competing at the higher end of the table again after winning the Europa Conference League last season. The Blues have also not won away against the Hammers since 2019, so would have to overcome this issue.
