Eurovision Song Contest commentator Mel Giedroyc got into trouble with viewers

Eurovision Song Contest viewers have claimed that it's 'not a time for crimes' as they called out an error minutes into the grand final. Those who didn't get tickets to watch the action unfold at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena have been tuning in in their millions to see who will take the title this year.

There was also a shock when the Princess of Wales was seen in a pre-recorded moment playing the piano earlier this month at Windsor Castle. Kate was shown playing a short instrumental piece lasting around 10 secondsIt was then time for Eurovision presenters actress Hannah Waddingham, Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina to take to the stage. The trio have been seen multiple times this week as they also hosted the two semi-final shows.

But it appears all eyes were on Hannah, who has been awarded plenty of praise this week for her hosting skills and various talents she has been displaying live on stage - including speaking French. But some spotted a problem, leaving fans to create a 'new rule'. @RegBently tweeted: "New #Eurovision rule. No talking over Hannah Waddingham. Especially if she's speaking French." @katbrown added: "No commentating over Hannah Waddingham speaking French, this is not a time for crimes #Eurovision."
