Addis Ababa — The performance of the 25 rural towns' solar power plant project, which is being built by the Ethiopia n Electricity Utility, has reached 61 percent.
The project is being underway by three contractors in six different lots in rural kebeles selected from 7 regions. The projects is believed to create several job opportunities in addition to providing access to electric power to more than 145,000 new customers and creates a platform for knowledge transfer up on its implementation.
