This issue has led to the depletion of several reservoirs responsible for supplying water to areas situated south of the eThekwini Metro, including portions of the Ugu District that also rely on the Amanzimtoti Water Works for their water needs. The inconvenience extends to residents of Almond, Kingsburgh, Doonside, Illovo Beach, and Panorama Park, among others, who are experiencing disruptions in their water supply.
