Her lone loss came against Fran Baleri in the initial round, but she quickly found her rhythm, sailing past her opponents in the subsequent matches.
Last year's champion, Esme Haley, secured a well-deserved bronze medal by finishing second. The competition for the final spot in the championship round from Section 2 was fierce, with Colleen Piketh facing Bridget Herselman and Marizelle Rousseau going head-to-head against Jax van Rensburg. Van Rensburg delivered a commanding performance, decisively winning 21-14 against the previously undefeated Rousseau, who played in front of a fervent home crowd. This victory meant Piketh advanced to the final after defeating Herselman in a thrilling match.
