The eThekwini Municipality has reminded residents in parts of the city about a planned electricity outage from 15 February to 17 February.
and aim to allow Eskom to refurbish the electrical infrastructure at the Georgedale Substation, which supplies power to the Mpumalanga Substation.
Additionally, the municipality also reminded residents to treat all electrical installations as live during the power outage to ensure safety.Load shedding remains suspended In addition, the Kusile Unit has also returned to service after being offline for reconnection to the repaired Flue Gas Desulphurisation system and main stack, as authorised by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment .
