Eskom has started paying power station staff performance bonuses

Eskom said it has started paying performance-based incentives to staff at power stations that meet specific targets.

Earlier this week at a briefing, Eric Shunmagum, from the office of Eskom's group executive in generation, said that performance targets were set at various power stations and staff that delivered on performance got rewarded. Responding to further questions from News24, Eskom confirmed that incentives had been paid, but did not say when this started."No incentives are awarded when these targets are not met," it added.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
