Eskom will have to adjust its tariff application for an increase of 32.66% from April 1 to allow for additional power purchases and other expenses contained in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s new power plan

, says Calib Cassim, the chief financial officer of Eskom.

Energy regulator Nersa published Eskom’s tariff applications for 2023/24 and 2024/25 on its website on Friday and is allowing written comments until September 8.
