Nicki Chapman has been helping people find their dream homes for nearly 20 years on BBC's Escape to the Country, but away from the cameras she lives a rather glamorous life
Nicki Chapman, known for her role as a judge on Pop Idol and presenter on BBC's Escape to the Country, leads a glamorous life off-screen. She lives in a beautiful home in Chiswick with her husband, who is a big name in the music industry.
"Fortunately, my experience was a good one, my recovery was amazing, but I still take one day at a time," she told the Mirror. "I'm a very positive person, so to always put a positive spin on life has helped keep me going." Nicki can be found sharing gushing tributes for her husband on Valentine's Day or during their anniversary. On February 14 this year, she shared a series of snaps alongside the caption: "Shacky. My Forever Valentine.
Stunning home Their home in Chiswick, boasting a "beautiful, open, spacious communal area" is something Nicki is really proud of as she calls it her "oasis". Their kitchen is big and open, with a TV, lots of light from above, and a big table where ten people can sit down to eat. They also have a "panic room", but it's not what you think,. Instead it's a big wooden box where she keeps things like bird food and comfy blankets. "We've got bird food, cushions and blankets inside. I call it the panic room because if anything ever happened, we would dive into it," she said.
