Manchester United transfer news as Erik ten Hag's Community Shield decision hints towards Jadon Sancho exit
Manchester United are set for a hectic end to the transfer window this month. After moving quickly to bring Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro to the club, the club's recruitment has slowed down.

However, Jadon Sancho's tricky case remains unresolved. After seemingly reviving his career in the second half of last season with Borussia Dortmund, the winger was reintegrated into Ten Hag's squad this summer.
For many, the 24-year-old's time in England is all but over. And events at Wembley Stadium point towards Ten Hag's stance on the matter. After starting Rashford and Amad, the United boss turned to Alejandro Garnacho off the bench. On paper, these three lead the way in terms of attacking options out wide.
From the player's perspective, Sancho surely isn't going to be happy spending large parts of the campaign on the bench. Time is running out in the transfer window but Ten Hag's clear preference for other forwards is the biggest hint yet that Sancho is likely to be allowed to leave.
