The Citizens and Chiefs could not be separated in their first DStv Premiership clash of the year on Tuesday evening.Jaedin Rhodes and Mogamat May both made their start for the City first team, with latter being signed from third-tier side Hanover Park FC.
"I thought both of them done extremely well. You know Jaedin young boy, you know coming up from the Diski and his first game is against Kaizer Chiefs, one of the biggest clubs on the continent. He worked hard, he had a fairly decent debut," Tinkler told SuperSport after the game. "We know his creativity, he's got a lot more to offer. So I think he will only grow and get stronger. And then Mo, I thought fantastic. Absolutely fantastic, held the ball up very very nicely. Created one or two little chances for himself and created one or two chances for others.
"I knew he would struggle. He's been playing third tier football. The intensity in the PSL is a lot higher. So we opted to take him out after 69 minutes to ensure we didn't stretch him."
