Oklahoma State forward Eric Dailey Jr. dunks the ball during the first half of an NCAA college basketball game against UCF Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Kansas City, Mo. LOS ANGELES — Oklahoma State transfer Eric Dailey Jr. announced his commitment to the UCLA men’s basketball team after a recent visit to Westwood, explaining that he believes being a Bruin will help him reach his dream of playing in the NBA.

He scored in double figures 15 times last season. His career-high is 20 points in an overtime loss against Oklahoma on Feb. 24. “I want to thank Coach Mike and the rest of the staff for giving me the opportunity to play at such a historic place like Oklahoma State with such an amazing community like Stillwater,” Dailey said via Instagram Tuesday morning. “I’m thankful to all the Oklahoma State donors and fans for supporting me and my teammates this year, even though we did not produce the outcome we wanted.
