Epson introduced the new SureColor P5370 photo printer, a 17-inch professional-level inkjet printer that promises an improved printhead, new ink set with an extended color gamut in dark blue hues, and an advanced print engine.. Photo printers don’t get updated often but Epson feels like it’s making the upgrade worth it with a group of new features and the promise of better quality prints.
The P5370 also uses a new 10-color UltraChrome Pro10 ink set in high-capacity 200 mL catridges, which includes violet ink, to deliver an extended range of blue hues and, therefore, a wider color gamut versus the previous-generation UltraChrome HD ink. The printer includes a built-in roll feeder, auto cutter, and a high-capacity cassette that accommodates up to 100 cut sheets from 8.5 by 11 inches to 17 by 22 inches.
