Welcome to Q&A, a podcast hosted by News24 editor-in-chief Adriaan Basson and News24 assistant editor for politics and opinions Qaanitah Hunter. Every week, they engage in candid conversations with SA's party leaders.ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba says there's no way the DA will expand its foothold in the May general elections, despite what polling data may suggest.
In the latest episode of News24's Q&A elections podcast, Mashaba says he is confident that his party will surpass the DA in national support, adding that ActionSA had, in the 2021 municipal vote, proved pollsters wrong. "It's obvious we're going to be bigger than the DA. If you look at the work we do on the ground, we appeal to all South Africans, be it in the villages, in the suburbs, or in the townships."
