EPA warns of water contaminants from Garland paint fire, says ‘no major impacts’ to public
The EPA is warning residents to avoid fishing in certain creeks because of contaminated runoff from the fire at the Sherwin-Williams paint plant Monday.

Garland firefighters responded to the plant at 701 S. Shiloh Road about 1 a.m., where a large fire was burning and intermittent explosions could be seen. The fire was suppressed after about two hours.The EPA and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality conducted air quality and water runoff testing following the fire. According to aBreaking News
