Although the COP15 biodiversity conference got underway over a week ago, some attendees believe the most important work began when the world’s ministers arrived in Montreal on Wednesday. “The legacy of this COP is going to be written by the ministers who come here,” said Eddy Pérez, the international climate diplomacy manager at Climate Action Network Canada.
