On Thursday, Imperial Oil president and CEO Brad Corson, along with two other company representatives,before the House of Commons’ environment committee, where they can expect an inquisition from MPs looking to learn more about toxic tailings leaks at the Imperial’s Kearl oilsands mine in northern Alberta.

Seepage of toxic tailings, which has the potential to cause adverse impacts on human health and the local environment, was.
