Environment Canada meteorologist Jordan Nicholls said a low-pressure system could bring a winter storm to they city overnight Wednesday, bringing a chance of ice pellets and snow to Toronto.

“Right now, looks like a messy mix of precipitation,” Environment Canada meteorologist Jordan Nicholls told the Star on Sunday. “Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow and ice pellets,” a statement from the agency read. “There may be a significant impact on travel in the region.”will drop to -1 C during the day on Wednesday, with the low expected to be -5 C.
