The national weather agency ended its special air quality statement for Toronto, Vaughan, Hamilton and much of the GTA at around 3:30 a.m. on Monday.

Monday and Tuesday’s risk levels are predicted to reach moderate levels, meaning there is “no need to modify” outdoor activities for the general public if they are not experiencing symptoms. That’s good news for those hoping to enjoy what’s predicted to be a warm week, following rainy weather that promptedMonday through Thursday is expected to reach a balmy 26 C during the day, according to Environment Canada’s weekly forecast for the city.This weekend will see an average temperature of 25 C during the day with a 40 per cent chance of daytime showers on Friday and Saturday and a 60 per cent chance of showers on Sunday.
