EMILY GLASSCOCK, CITY OF ENTERPRISE Enterprise City Hall will close at 1 p.m. on Thursday for electrical work as part of the ongoing renovation project and reopen at 7:30 a.m. the next day.
“As we work to renovate Enterprise City Hall for the betterment of our citizens and community, we appreciate the public’s patience and understanding,” Mayor William E. Cooper said. “Closing Enterprise City Hall on Thursday afternoon will allow the electrical crews the time they need to make the necessary modifications.”
The closure will only affect Enterprise City Hall; all other departments will remain open. Citizens who need to speak with an officer during the closure may do so by using the non-emergency button located near the main entrance. The water works drop box in the rear parking lot as well as the main drop box located by the front entrance of the building will be available to accept payments. The $7.8-million Enterprise City Hall renovation project started last fall.
