'Enough is Enough' meeting on cost of living crisis to be held in Lancaster Town Hall
A public meeting to campaign on cost-of-living issues and highlight the causes of workers currently in industrial disputes will include the leader of Lancaster City Council.
This week’s Enough is Enough meeting in Lancaster will look at both public and private sectors with speakers from trade unions and politics. They including representatives of railway unions, the Royal Mail, education and care workers. Lancaster MP Cat Smith MP is also expected. He added: “The Lancaster and Morecambe Trades Union Council has been supporting workers on strike all summer. We will continue to do so. We will urge members of the public to support picket lines and donate to strikers, if they can.”
