The soccer and basketball camps are for youth ages 8-18
Engage Sport North is collaborating with the University of Northern British Columbia Timberwolves to deliver a series of basketball and soccer camps this summer for youth ages 8 to 18 in Prince George.
In the mornings, immersive soccer and basketball programs will be run by the Timberwolves’ top student-athletes and then Engage Sport North will offer multi-sport Try-it sports programming in the afternoons. For youth ages 13-18, two week-long basketball camps are available in the afternoons in July and August. Participants will enjoy sport-specific training and drills from the Timberwolves student-athletes and strength and conditioning programming delivered by Engage Sport North’s high-performance coaches.
“Parents seek opportunities to keep their children engaged and active during the summer months, and our camps with the Timberwolves are the perfect solution-enabling children to meet new friends, explore new sports, and experience the benefits of organized sports,” explained Lauryn McKinnon, Sport Discovery Coordinator for Engage Sport North.
