But one TikToker has shared how he does his washing up using a trick that uses leftover heat from the oven, which could be helpful when households have finished cooking this festive weekend. One of his recent clips has grabbed the attention of people eager to cut down on their spends this Christmas, as it involves re-using energy created while cooking.
He shows a clip of himself using the cold tap to fill up an oven dish with water, placing it in the oven which has been turned off after cooking.The TikToker then pours the hot water from the container into a washing-up bowl, ready to tackle the pile of dirty cups and plates.
