The headquarters of one of the biggest energy firms in the country has been vandalised hours before a protest was due to take place.
Red paint was splattered across the entrance doors and windows of ScottishPower in Glasgow city centre.At noon on Friday, protesters began to gather outside the HQ in St Vincent Street for a planned demonstration against the energy price hikes and cost-of-living crisis.One of the protesters said the paint was there when the first people turned up and police said it was reported during the night.
The protest lasted around one hour with speeches from campaigners and union representatives and passed without any incident.
