Botanists working in the fynbos at Tokai Park have made the exciting discovery of a fountain bush population that has not been previously recorded at the site.

A new fountain bush population for Tokai Park by Zoë C Poulsen, Daily Maverick October 10, 2022 The plants were found in critically endangered Peninsula Granite Fynbos vegetation during fieldwork for the Friends of Tokai Park’s , International Union for the Conservation of Nature , Save our Species project in partnership with SANParks, Table Mountain National Park. The FOTP is a WESSA-affiliated friends group run by a small committee of volunteers and has about 300 members.
