Pitso Mosimane will on Monday night take charge of his last game at Al Ahli Saudi FC.
Al Ahli’s 1-0 win over Al Sahel last Tuesday night meant Al Ahli will finish top of the standings and go up the podium as champions leaving today’s trip to second placed Al Hazm a mere dead rubber contest. For Al Ahli, the championship was wrapped several weeks after promotion back to the Saudi Pro League was secured as they became the first of four clubs snapping the ticket that moves them back to where global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo now plays for Al Nassr.
However, for all his success at the club, Mosimane has found himself getting a cold shoulder from management with regards to being handed an extension to his deal. It is in that light that names as Massimiliano Allegri and Andre Villas-Boas have been linked with the club.
