American actress Barbara Bosson has died, aged 83.
The Emmy-nominated star found fame following her role as divorcee Fay Furillo on NBC’s Hill Street Blues.Her death was announced by her director son, Jesse Bochco, via social media on Monday.
‘When she loved you, you felt it without a doubt. If she didn’t, you may well have also known that too.‘Forever in our hearts. I love you Mama’.‘Rest easy mom,’ he penned in another heartfelt post shared to his Instagram stories. She was also famed for her work on three well-known ABC series – Hooperman, Cop Rock, and Murder One – all of which were co-created by her former husband.
