Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper has teased some big summer spoilers and there's lots ahead from new arrivals, to 'explosive' stunts and a moving tribute to a much-loved character
There’s a big summer of drama in Emmerdale , according to producer Sophie Roper who has revealed some big spoilers from funerals, to stunts and new arrivals.
“The Dingles have been at the heart of our show for 30 years now,” says Sophie. “We lost Steve recently, so we’ll mark the passing of the iconic Zak, with a Dingle funeral.” “Mandy’s dress is very big and very fun,” teases Sophie. “And it was made by one of our in-house dressmakers.” “So it will be difficult drama at moments, but a really important message and a really important story that we are keen to continue to tell.”
“He's gonna bring lots of drama to the Dales, which I'm gonna keep quite tight lipped about for now.”
