Dean Andrews has been a staple on hit ITV soap Emmerdale since 2019 as fan favourite Will Taylor but he has also had a surprising role away from the fictional TV village
Ever since joining the soap back in 2019, Will, played by Dean Andrews, has been part of several dramatic plots with recent scenes seeing Will blackmailed by a mystery person following the chaos with his ex Rose Jackson. Prior to joining Emmerdale, Will actor Dean, 61, already had an impressive career with roles in Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes and Last Tango in Halifax - to name a few.
Away from Emmerdale, Dean has been providing the voiceover for Channel 5's Casualty 24/7, which launched in 2018 and is a documentary series filmed inside the casualty department of a hospital in Barnsley, South Yorkshire following the staff, volunteers and patients. In a desperate bid, Will asks Caleb Milligan for a loan in return for his shares in the haulage business. Having secured Caleb's loan, Will's chipper as he makes big promises to Kim. However, his mood soon darkens when the blackmailer messages demanding payment. The next day, once Will has the £40K in cash from Caleb, he texts his blackmailer to let them know he has the cash.
