Charley Webb has been showered with support and stories after she revealed her mum's diagnosis on Mother's Day. The former Emmerdale star took to Instagram on Sunday and shared a photo with her mum taken on her wedding day.
The 35-year-old wrote: "In 2015, our lovely Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She was 64. This last 8 years have been a learning curve, a grieving process and something all of her children have struggled with. Every day is a challenge and brings difficulties which are really hard to come to terms with."
Charley, who is known for playing Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale, continued: "8 years later we finally feel ready to talk about it and the goal is to raise as much money and awareness as possible, to be able to help everyone that may face this in the future." @timrichardjones said: "That's so sad & love the Way U Have coped. Love the picture Charley & happy Mother's Day 2 & your Mum." @rachaellouisa70 commented: "Lots of love to you all xx such a cruel disease." @angelawoodhamluckett replied: "Oh my gosh, so heartbreaking and so inspirational too.
