Emmerdale fans have been left baffled by a police blunder on the ITV soap as protective dad, Dan Spencer, finds his future at risk after leaving his daughter's stalker, Lloyd, in hospital with one punch.
However, fans were left distracted during the scenes as they questioned why the police hadn't spoke to Dan's daughter Amelia Spencer or checked her phone, where Lloyd was harassing her. Another account wrote: "How did they not find his messages to Amelia?! my guess is he used a burner phone or something?! #emmerdale."Tuesday's episode of Emmerdale ended with a drunk Dan blaming his GBH charge on Amelia thanks to her social media activity, which caused Lloyd to stalk her.
Viewers will recall that Amelia's protective dad, Dan, took matters into his own hands last week after the police failed to do anything about the stalking due to lack of evidence. And it was soon clear to see that this one single punch had left Lloyd with serious injuries as he fights for his life and Dan faces an uncertain future.
