Emmerdale fans went wild on Wednesday night as Diane Sugden made a return to the village for the Dingle family's emotional surprise day for Faith.

Only recently, Faith wanted a family day at the seaside but when her health took a turn for the worse it meant their trip couldn't go ahead. And in another surprise, when an ice cream van turned up, it was none other than Diane, who left for Portugal last year, inside as she was reunited with Faith and able to say goodbye.
