Wonder what Cain would think to this?!
Emmerdale actor James Hooton has revealed his love for life in a Yorkshire village and says he 'rarely' gets recognised.
James, who has played Sam Dingle for more than 28 years in the long-running soap, spoke to YorkshireLive from a pop-up bar called Ta'Hoots that he runs with business partner, John Tatton. On Saturday the bar was set up at Roberts Park, Saltaire, to mark World Heritage Day.James described the countryside around Baildon as 'fantastic' and it allows him to pursue his love of rock climbing. He also enjoys the local bars and the odd pint of Guinness.
James said no one had recognised him today and he was happy to be 'anonymous' although he said people were polite when they asked for 'selfies'. "It's nice to get out in the community, doing something different to the day job. Me and John wanted to start something out of our comfort zone."
