Emmerdale fans fear that death could be on the horizon for Lydia Dingle who was raped by her childhood sweetheart Craig after he arrived in the village.
Following her terrifying ordeal, she was accused by Mandy Dingle of cheating on her husband Sam , but before she could explain what had happened to her, Lydia stormed out after she screamed at Mandy, saying: "I would never, ever cheat on Sam or do anything to hurt him. I have done everything I can to protect Sam so he doesn't feel any pain!"
"I didn't do anything, we hugged, and for a minute it felt like something might happen. I think I've made a terrible mistake, I should never have gone and met with him,” she told her.
