Emily Blunt revealed which former co-star talked her out of pursuing a singing career
"She said, 'Oh no, darling. You can't do both. You can't act and that,'" Blunt revealed of Dench's advice while visiting 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Tuesday.
"I realized that I'm not good at dancing, and I didn't want to be Britney," she said of why she ultimately didn't try to make it as a singer. She explained that someone approached her to pursue a singing career. "They said, 'I think you have a nice voice and I think that you can be a pop star.' I said, 'I can't dance.' They said, 'Don't worry about it. We'll teach you,'" she recalled. "It didn't work. I tried to learn.
She added that the timing of their new career endeavor "could be rocky starting off" due to the coronavirus, but said the airline is appropriate due to their work onThe clip opened with Blunt greeting the airline passengers in multiple languages. Dressed as a flight attendant, Blunt said, "We know you have choices when you travel, so thank you for choosing us. The only airline with silence guaranteed.
