Running until May 7 at the Art Gallery of Sudbury, the juried show features work by Greater Sudbury students in Grades 9 through 12

The Art Gallery of Sudbury has announced its annual juried secondary school exhibit entitled Émergence, featuring works by 12 Greater Sudbury Secondary schools representing all four school boards — Rainbow District School Board, Sudbury Catholic District School Board, Conseil Scolaire Public du Grand Nord de l'Ontario and Conseil Scolaire Catholique du Nouvel-Ontario.

The exhibition, which runs until May 7, represents a cross-section of artistic development from Grades 9 through 12 in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography and mixed media. This exhibition of student artwork is an opportunity for the students to share their vision with family, friends, and the public.

Located at 251 John Street, the Art Gallery of Sudbury is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information or to book a visit or school program, visit their website at ArtSudbury.org, or call 705-675-4871.
