🔴 Elon Musk has launched a poll on Twitter asking followers if he should reinstate controversial user Donald Trump who had his account suspended following the attack on the US Capitol

He announced he was bringing back the accounts of comedian Kathy Griffin, academic Jordan Peterson and conservative satire site Babylon Bee.

Yoel Roth, who quit as head of trust and safety at Twitter last week, said on Friday that the billionaire’s insistence on making unilateral decisions himself was the reason he stepped down. “I’d encourage looking not just at the choices the company makes but also at how Mr Musk makes them. Should the moderation council materialize, will it represent more than just the loudest, predominantly American voices complaining about censorship — including, critically, the approximately 80 per cent of Twitter users who reside outside the United States?”
