The Dubcast examines how Ohio State compares to its Rival through seven games, reflects on the drubbing of Iowa, and ponders an all B1G-SEC Playoff field.
It's important to stop for a minute and take a little bit of joy in what Ohio State's football team is doing this season. Even in a game when the offense was stymied in the run game and felt a little off-kilter for the better part of three quarters, they still managed to score 54 points on the top-rated defense in the country.
Sure, C.J. Stroud threw passes he wishes he hadn't, but he still threw four touchdowns and made absolutely brilliant throws to a broad cast of supporting characters, including fullback Mitch Rossi. So the Dubcast takes a minute to enjoy that Ohio State looks like the most complete team in the country and arguably the best team in college football this season. Then, after evaluating the damage the Buckeyes did to Iowa, shift the attention to how the good guys compare through seven games to their hated rivals Up North.
