South Africans are criticising the ANC for prioritising the Springboks over matriculants and for bringing back loadshedding during the exams.
Mzansi believes the ANC is benefiting from loadshedding as the lights got turned off when the Springboks returned from the Rugby World Cup, during the grade 12 exams.
The parody account captioned the image: “When there is a World Cup there’s no load shedding but when children write exams there’s load shedding. Electricity for Rugby and candles to study for exams. South Africa is a special nation.”The power utility added in a statement: “Eskom teams are working tirelessly to ensure that additional generating units are returned to service as soon as possible.”
