Eldorado Park is a Patriotic Alliance stronghold and the party that has come out as pro-Israel in the Gaza conflict.
JOHANNESBURG - Eldorado Park residents have praised the Economic Freedom Fighters for its pro-Palestine stance in the Middle-East conflict.Hundreds of residents filled the hall, with some carrying Palestinian flags.
Resident Shahid Williams says there are a number of issues he agrees with the EFF on. “Number one, the Palestine issue. They were very vocal, they didn’t mince their words regarding it. Even the land grab issue, they are very vocal with what they do and I believe that you need some radical change in this country.”However, he does not agree with the party’s policy of a borderless Africa.
“Opening up the borders, that will never resonate with any South African because South Africans they need to be looked after from a government perspective, and no government has done that and now he wants to open up borders, imagine.”
