Johannesburg - An early morning protest rocked the ANC’s Luthuli House headquarters in central Joburg, this time over an alleged capping of the retirement age for early childhood development workers in Limpopo.

The women wanted the ANC to intervene in their matter, saying the provincial government refused to fund their crèches once they turn 60. The 18-to-35-year-olds the Limpopo government wanted to replace them with individuals who “were inexperienced”, the protesters alleged.
